I think that there are numerous guys who aren't submissive, but who play at being submissive, just to see Mistresses on cam because they are attracted to them. They are just ignorant of how to interact with people in this lifestyle and end up coming across as total asses.

Yes, I agree. there are many fetish driven men out there - that do not consider themselves submissives. and thats fine, if you have a fetish you'd like to explore, Im all for that - what I am NOT happy about, is upon rejection - WE get text that says " you are just an internet scammer" or worse, use a racist slang or derogatory comments.
